What an amazing year it was.
Here it is in fast forward...
A pop up shop, a real shop, the addition of a daughter-in-law to the clan (and an EPIC wedding).
Lessons learnt, friendships made, loved ones farewelled, babies born.
It’s been the year of massive highs and unfathomable loss, both personally and for our local community.
If anything it’s intensified my need for space and quiet, and also my respect and love for those who have had to forge on as the tides of shock and overwhelming grief ebb and flow.
I’ve seen such immense strength in heartache here in my own backyard, and when I look back at the effort, hard work and constancy of my own year with Minimuds, it pales into total insignificance in comparison to the grit and guts I’ve witnessed in the wider community I’m part of.
Pure courage.
On the flip side, the shop has been an absolute blast, and I’ve finally worked out what I want to do when I grow up
(Which, by the way, makes my almost 90 yer old mum very happy!)
We have HEAPS of exciting news to share too, but that’s under wraps till next year, so tune in tomorrow for the scoop!!
For today, I just want to thank all of you for the support and love that’s come our way in 2023.
Don’t forget to hug your people, lean in to your village, and find joy in the simple things.
